Halloween…Spooky Polyester Resin Ghost Face

• Polyester resin
• Mixing sticks
• Plastic face mask or mannequin head
• White sheet
• Duct Tape
• Brush
• Aluminum foil 
• Vegetable oil
• Paint for the ghost face
• Gloves

Now that you have your supplies gathered, put on the gloves and get ready to start making your polyester resin ghost face as follows:

1. Using duct tape, cover the holes on the mask to prevent leaking of the resin. Place the mask or mannequin head on a flat surface. Place the white sheet over top of the mask.

2. Mix the resin according to the package and use a catalyst if necessary. Once the resin is mixed, begin brushing it onto the sheet over the mask.

3. The resin should be thick enough that the sheet over the mask is saturated. Take a piece of aluminum foil and add a couple of drop of vegetable oil to it. Place the foil over top of the resin. Using your fingers, press the foil down into the grooves, cracks, and impressions to form to the mask.

4. Allow the resin to dry for up to two hours and then peel the aluminum foil away. Once the foil is removed, you can then paint your ghost face and remove the resin from the mask.

5. Hang your spooky ghost face throughout your home or in your trees to give the neighborhood a haunted look and feel.
